Wake up with Fabric (ENG)

Your eyes are still trying to catch up, but you head for the car or train anyway. There you are, surrounded by fellow commuters, with one familiar question crossing your mind: why am I doing this, anyway?

And then you remember: you voluntarily signed up for a Wake up with Fabric session. Voluntarily, as if you thought, yes, let me upgrade my day with a dose of data and the latest technology. While others are slowly getting into their rhythm, you are about to dive into how Fabric connects data, organizes it, and turns it into actionable insights.

Another Wake up with Fabric session is about to start. The location may vary, but the idea remains the same. Grab a fresh cup of coffee, settle in, and let the fun begin.

I have been delivering this session more often lately, but believe me, no two sessions are ever the same. Fabric never stands still. New updates keep coming, from conference announcements to monthly releases, and they all find their way into the session. That is exactly why every edition is a fresh mix and never a repeat.

In three hours, we dive into both the technology and its practical applications. From loading a simple CSV into your Lakehouse to querying data directly using Data Agents, supported by Fabric IQ to understand what is there and what to do next. We try to cover as much ground as possible, because let us be honest, Fabric is vast and packed with features. That is also why the session stays interactive. You ask questions, and we tackle them together. It keeps things approachable, engaging, and fair, especially since you chose to be here.

Interactive sessions are great, but they also come with a bit of healthy tension. Live demos have their moments. Sometimes things do not go as planned, and that is fine. Because luckily, there is Copilot. I show how Copilot supports me in real time within Fabric, highlighting just how deeply integrated and versatile it is. That way, we end up showcasing possibilities instead of problems. By the end, we have unlocked, stored, modeled, presented, predicted, and queried data. And then, suddenly, time is up.

Laptop goes back into the bag. You head out with a head full of ideas and a smile. The journey was worth it. Knowledge gained, inspiration sparked, and that quiet realization:

Yeah, this was the right choice.

Fabric it is!
